2026
26 March 2026 – A stylish Krawl around Ightam Mote. Seven met up at the Kentish Rifleman in Dunk’s Green on a bright fresh morning. A bit of mud, that we could get round ok, a few styles and some uphill got us to the Papermaker’s Arms in Plaxtol, albeit a bit late at 12:20. We were shocked to find it was ‘a pub with no beer!’. Well, no draft bitter! After a pleasant sit outside in the sunshine, we set off towards our lunch stop. It was a relatively short krawl back and mostly level or downhill. About six and a half miles in total. Three others joined us for and excellent meal with much chatter.
Present: Ponti (President), BN, Drew, Dave A, Chris, Colin, Rae plus John, Dave W & Phil for lunch (7+3=10)
Apologis: Stan, Ken, Roger, Dave C, Gareth, Jim, Martin, Mark, Apples, Fred (10)

26 February 2026 – Chelsfield and Environs. Seven of us met Drew, the nominated President, in the car park of the Bo Peep pub in Chelsfield. The weather was dry, not cold but with a biting wind. We set off towards the motorway, heading for The Five Bells on the other side of Chelsfield, near the hospital. On our way we saw hundreds of horses (as usual) but to our surprise an Emu! We duly arrived five minutes early to find a five person group of Radiologists also waiting for opening time. A good pint saw us head back to the Bo Peep for yet another fine lunch. It was very crowded as there were several different groups there – we were the biggest! Around six and a half miles in total.
Present: Drew (President), BN, Dave A, Stan, Colin, Gareth, Chris + Dave’s C & W, Ponti 7+3=10)

29 January 2026 – A Krawl around Pratts Bottom. Six old members, led by President, Roger, set off from The Bulls Head, in Pratts Bottom, to celebrate the KKK’s 115th birthday. And a fine krawl it was with lots of uphill and more styles than you could count. It was also quite muddy after several weeks of rain. We eventually arrived at The Three Horseshoes in Knockholt and enjoyed a good pint of Harvey’s. Duly refreshed we made our way back to The Bulls Head for a very enjoyable meal, conversation, and camaraderie. The GPS played up, the map is correct, but the distance and time is not! It was around seven miles in total, 3+ hours of walking.
Present: Roger (President), BN, Drew, Rae, Dave A, Chris + Ken for lunch (6+1=7)
Apologies: Apples, Jim, Dave W, Ponti, Mark, Gareth, Phil, Stan, Colin, Martin, John, Fred (12)
